Meditation at Silencito

We explore many meditation techniques which are all interrelated and naturally enhancing, including:

  • Concentration Meditation, which is the foundation for all other types of meditation. It helps us to overcome distraction and maintain our focus, gives more intuitive insight to the true nature of life and brings the power of peace and clarity. The concentrated mind enhances the effectiveness of other meditation practices through the increased presence.
  • Mindfulness Meditation, which is the cultivation of insight, meaning “to see clearly”. To see ourselves and our world as they really are. It helps to bring mindful attention to all our life experiences with clear focus on the reality of the present moment, increasing our sense of wonder and appreciation, deep listening and presence.
  • Reflective Meditation, which is deep contemplation to gain intuitive insight on life’s questions, bringing inspiration and creative solutions. Using an inquiring mind with quiet introspection to reach inner wisdom and change in our lives.
  • Creative Meditation, which helps us direct our intentions and wishes to allow new potentials to open to us, heightening our imagination and helping to create the life we desire.

 

  • Heart-Centred Meditation, which helps us to awaken our loving-kindness and compassion towards ourselves and all living beings. Nurturing a heart filled with gratitude, love and appreciation and harmony in our lives.
  • Stillness Meditation, which helps cultivate that deep inner stillness, silence of the mind, a letting go of attachments and surrendering to what is, leading to profound inner transformation.

Once a foundation course is complete, participants may attend the Transformative Meditation course.

Transformative Meditation offers a way to experience higher awareness, leading to a conscious experience of the true nature of life. It uses connection to higher realms of consciousness and increased awareness in life’s experiences to lead to deeper inner transformation, clarity, peace and intuitive insights. Heightening a sense of connectedness to each other and the universe, like an invisible web of deeper wisdom. We explore transformation for the individual, the group and the world.
